CREATING A SAFE & COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT Free from covid-19

ENHANCED AIR PURIFICATION

Best Air Filtration to Eliminate Covid-19

In addition to our optimized air circulation, each room is equipped with a medical-grade air purifier. Our HEPA Air Purifier units remove bacterial and viral particles, eliminating 99.97% of 0.3micron particles and 95% of 01-micron particles and larger, through a four-stage filter.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Aside from rearranging our reception room and increased disinfection wait time between patients, we have limited the number of patients in the waiting area to a maximum of two at any one time. On the date of their appointment, patients are instructed to call us, so we can direct them when to enter the office.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Our clinical staff wears personal protective equipment ( disposable surgical level 3 or N-95 mask, face shield, gloves, and gowns) to ensure our patients' safety and their own. Our clinical staff underwent fit-testing and all members are certified to wear Alpha ProTech or 3M N-95 Respirator Mask. We have a PPE donning and doffing room where our staff changes their PPE before seeing each patient. Our gowns are cleaned and provided by Canadian Linen. As always, we are committed to maintaining rigorous infection prevention and sterilization procedures. The main difference is our attire, which now includes face masks and shields, surgical caps, and gowns.

RECONFIGURED PHYSICAL SPACES

Our clinic already allows for closed operatory to maintain privacy, but also effectively isolating each patient. Reception chairs have been spaced out to allow for physical distancing.

WATER LINES

Our clinical staff disinfects our dental chair water lines daily with Zymax-128 disinfectant solution and one through cleaning every week with Aqua-FX concentrated disinfectant water lines, as well as one a month we test the water to make sure there are no bacteria. We used distilled water on all our patients.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, as you have experienced during all your previous visits to our office. We are committed to the health and safety of our patients and team members. We have implemented a COVID-19 safety protocol. We strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Casa Dental follows all guidelines from Public Health authorities and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO), and Ontario Dental Assistant Association (ODAA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are current with any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures adhere to the regulations outlined, as dynamics change quickly.
